So, you are here because you know how to hide your tears from the world. I’m proud of you that you are strong enough to fight your own battles and shed tears in solitude. But, hey! Why did you cry in the first place?
Crying is an intense emotion. It depicts a state of extreme joy or sadness. Nothing in between. I understand there are winds blazing inside you and you are wishing to run away from everything that currently surrounds you. You cannot hold your tears and they keep flowing like an unending rainy day. They clog your pillow and you continue to sob.
Let the winds slow down
Whatever is causing that storm will continue to trigger every night until you take the matter in your hands and settle it once and forever. Here, I am asking you to push yourself and face those fears. Talk to that one person who caused you deep stress and take that anger out. Try giving upon your ego, for once.
If you did not achieve something you gave your heart and soul for, it won’t matter in ten years from now. Try seeing what can be achieved and how to get over the spilt milk. I know, it is easier said than done. But my little outpour comes from my experience of battling unending fights with myself trying to figure out what I really wanted for myself and not giving up. I challenge you to get out of our comfort zones and face the examination. Do not think twice, just go!
You need to believe in yourself
And a little pro tip, do not pay heed to what others might think of you. If you are sure as to what you want in life, what you want to achieve and where you want to be, pieces in the gigantic maze will slowly fall into place. Slowly the blurred puzzle will make sense and you will know what God has in store for you.
Love yourself, be you
Stop trying to control everything. Always follow ‘Keep the 5 F’s Free’ principle. Do not try to control your family, friends, fate, fortune and future. Whatever is meant to be, will be. All you can do is do your best. Play your part to the best you can. Love as much as you can, be a good son/daughter, loving friend and not so fanatic about the future.
I’m slowly learning these tips and tricks and hope to share whatever I gather with experience. Life teaches everyone, everything. So hold tight, be yourself. Enjoy! And dare you cry again! Common, smile!
