What is your ideal definition of happiness? Of course it’s subjective, but your very own interpretation of happiness keeps evolving with age. In order to achieve the ‘ideal’ picture worthy moments, we end up on missing those little joys life has to offer. Let’s change our lenses and hunt for those little smiles instead.
There are many situations where you want to say things but you do not. You keep those words to yourself and they get buried in your heart. Their burden makes you overwhelmed and with time, you land up bottling up feelings.
Words are immensely powerful. When hit hard, they can change fates. I’m sure you must have felt the strength of words after hearing some good speeches or reading books. I felt their power through quotes at an early age.
I don’t know what am I waiting for. But I certainly am waiting. I don’t even know how long should I wait for the unknown to unfold.
Prior to the pandemic, I thought ‘Netflix and chill’ was only for cool people who did nothing good with their time. In these months of lockdown, I realised movies and webseries play a larger role in our lives. I now try and watch stuff and my opinions have completely changed.
We all have that phase in life where we surrender ourselves to monotony. We accept that completing education, getting a job and following a routine life is the ultimate measure of success. Somewhere, we kill those little sparks that push us to try new stuff.
I have been trying to rewire my life for the longest time and each time I fail miserably. Despite the series of failures, I will not give up.
So, you are here because you know how to hide your tears from the world. I’m proud of you that you are strong enough to fight your own battles and shed tears in solitude. But, hey! Why did you cry in the first place?
